Sorted Fullas is built by a small independent team. We take your privacy seriously and keep things simple - we collect only what we need to make the app work, we don't sell your data, and we don't show you ads. Ever.

Who we are

Sorted Fullas is an independent app developed by Croc Digital, based in Sydney, Australia. The app is available at sortedfullas.com and is designed for use in Australia and New Zealand.

What data we collect

We collect the minimum amount of data needed to make the app work:

• Anonymous device ID - a randomly generated ID stored on your device that identifies your session. This is not linked to your name, email, or any personal information. It's used to save your lists and preferences between sessions.

• Region preference - whether you're using the AU or NZ version of the app.

• Shopping lists - the items, stores, prices and budgets you enter into the app. This is stored so you can save and reload your lists.

• Shared list participants - if you share a list, the nickname you choose to identify yourself to your shopping partner.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other personal information unless you contact us directly.

How we use your data

Your data is used only to provide the app's features:

• To save and sync your shopping lists across sessions • To enable real-time shared lists between you and your shopping partner • To remember your region preference

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than making the app work.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure cloud database service. Our Supabase instance is hosted in Sydney, Australia (AWS ap-southeast-2 region).

Some data (your current list, region, and session) is also stored locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly save a list or share it with someone.

Payments

When the paid unlock feature is available, payments will be processed by Stripe - a globally trusted payment platform. Sorted Fullas never sees or stores your card details. All payment data is handled directly by Stripe and is subject to their privacy policy.

When you make a payment, Stripe may collect information such as your email address and payment details. Please refer to Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy for details.

Cookies and tracking

Sorted Fullas does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising trackers.

We use localStorage (a browser storage technology) to remember your session and preferences. This is essential for the app to function and is not used for advertising purposes.

Sharing your data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

• Supabase - database and real-time sync (supabase.com/privacy) • Vercel - hosting and deployment (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy) • Stripe - payment processing, when applicable (stripe.com/privacy)

Each of these services has their own privacy policy and security practices.

Data retention

Your anonymous data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you clear your browser's localStorage, your local session data will be deleted. Your saved lists stored in our database will remain until you delete them within the app.

Shared list sessions expire automatically after 24 hours.

If you would like all of your data deleted from our systems, please contact us at hello@sortedfullas.com and we will action your request within 30 days.

Children's privacy

Sorted Fullas is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

• The right to know what data we hold about you • The right to request deletion of your data • The right to request correction of inaccurate data • The right to data portability

Since we use anonymous device IDs rather than accounts, we may need your device ID to locate your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@sortedfullas.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
