About Sorted Fullas

It started with a very familiar frustration.

You're at the shops, juggling three different apps and a notes list, trying to remember what your partner is picking up from somewhere else, while simultaneously trying to keep track of whether you're going to blow the budget. Your phone buzzes. It's a text. You reply. You look up. You've grabbed the same thing they just grabbed from the other store.

Sound familiar? It did to us. After years of that exact frustration - the juggling, the double-ups, the budget embarrassment at the checkout - we decided to build something better.

Sorted Fullas is the grocery app we always wished existed. Plan everything in one place, share it live with whoever you're shopping with, and know exactly where you stand on budget before you get to the register.

Who we are

We're a small team of Kiwis who've been living in Sydney since 2010. We built Sorted Fullas under Croc Digital - a Sydney-based studio specialising in websites and web applications.

We've been building digital products for clients for years. Sorted Fullas is something a little different - something we built for ourselves first, and then decided the world needed too.

People are doing it tough right now.

The cost of living is rising across Australia and New Zealand. Groceries are more expensive than ever. Budgets are tighter. And the last thing anyone needs is to reach the checkout and realise they've overspent - again.

Sorted Fullas isn't going to solve the cost of living crisis. But it can help you stay on top of it - one shop at a time. That felt worth building.

Why Australia and New Zealand?

Because that's home - both of them. We're Kiwis who shop at Coles and Woolies in Sydney, but we've still got whānau back in New Zealand shopping at New World and Pak'nSave. We built Sorted Fullas to work for both, because we know both.

The stores, the bag prices, the supermarket rebrand from Countdown to Woolworths - we know these details because we live them. That's the difference between an app built by people who know the market and one that doesn't.

What's next

Sorted Fullas is a web app today - available on any phone or tablet by adding it to your home screen. We're working on native iOS and Android apps, and we have a bunch of features in the pipeline including a saved items library, smarter price tracking, and more.
